I agree better on webui than a GUI that consumes a lot of Mem. These are all lightweight but with good and weak points here and there. I used on my past rutorrent, transmission-daemon, ctorrent and utorrent-webui.

even that must have been more than 5 years ago.Īgree regarding webclient, i find very practical and manageable everywhere. in the beginning it was truly lightweight, but at some point they jumped onto the gravy train => adware. I remember using µtorrent ages ago, before i switched to linux. I'm not sure how transmission-daemon fares in the lightweightness, i was thinking of changing to rtorrent many times. But the server - web client model works very well for me why keep an expensive gui alive when all you really want is to share torrents.
